SPIE Hotwork Solutions For Refractory Manufacturers

Clients evaluate their refractory materials over the life of the asset. Refractory manufacturers only control the manufacturing of the material but their product is evaluated based on the performance of the as-installed and as-dried product. Material performance can be destroyed or significantly compromised if an effective refractory dryout is not conducted. Process burners are rarely capable of the turndown control and low temperature/high volume performance necessary to provide an effective refractory dryout. SPIE Hotwork understands refractory products and works with manufacturers and installers to ensure that the refractory starts its asset life in optimal condition.
